Extra large nineteenth-century antique Scottish banded agate Victorian brooch pendant superbly rendered in a gold-filled frame with a snake curling all around the outside. The snake's head curls over the top of the cabochon with mouth open. A tubular hinge and c-clasp close the pin pendant. Suspend this from a ribbon or chain through the loop or wear it as a brooch. A wonderful piece of history!
